Stating facts != covering asses. The faux outrage is getting old.

Subiya, are you working in Slightly Mad? Or your aunt maybe? The personal attention you defend them with looks amazing! )

Im more amazed by the baseless and retarded attacks been thrown at them.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

The thing on the Slightly Mad case is simple.
If they just admit smth like:

'we've made some new estimations and we see that WiiU port of our game will not be successful financially. So we've made a hard desision to cancel it. We sorry for all the inconviniences and hope to to deliver more excellent games in the future to our fans.'

Then it will be no questions to them.

But all the bullshit about 'even our tires physics is impossible on WiiU CPU' after 3 years of bragging on bringing 'the best racing experience to the Nintendo platform' just looks silly.

Oops, wrong thread!

The beggining of the thread is exactly they saying the amount of money and work needed isn't very good to keep they pushing the performance tweaks needed for a decent version. And then explain why. Even if lowering pixel count to 480p the fps won't rise. Stuck at 23fps. If you have any proof they are lying, sue them.

I think most of the internet outage towards Slightly Mad Studios is fake. Was there really any market for a racing-sim on the Wii-U? A Sim is not as approachable as an Arcade racing game. The amount of people who would actually buy the game (hardcore racing fans) already have a High-end PC or a PS4/XB1, and most of the people complaining are doing it more cause of their love for Nintendo, rather than for any real interest in trying this game. Do you guys even remember the last Racing-Sim ever released on a Nintendo console? Cause i sure as well don't. I think they over promised and should give backers who backed the Wii-U version their money back, but I can't really blame them since the game they made the best game they could, and they had to make concessions along the way.

Nintendo gamers wanted diversity and other 3rd party developers to provide games to Wii U.  hence several nintendo gamers backed SMS when initially mentioned that they were creating a version for the Wii U back in 2013.  it is not about previous nintendo consoles having a sim-racing.

it is about 3rd party developers on what they mentioned before and they say delay for a few months but not a big worry then all of a sudden they can't make the Wii U version.  it is better to tell it sooner than lying.

i dont think that was his point. How much of the people who are complaining actually put money in the crowdfunding? I'm pretty sure that less than half the Ninty fans on this site only did that. And im being generous. Again 95% of the funds came from PC gamers BEFORE they even mentioned a console version. So really how much Ninty fans actually funded it, cant be as much as the people complaining.

fair enough, but it wasn't mentioned nor from previous posts that it is about it. and we don't have facts to back it up and that 95% of the gamers are pc gamers. do you have info on this?

The only point regardless of which developer it is, don't tell lies and be upfront on what you really wanted to push on your games and which consoles it would be part of. if from the start SMS that Wii U is cancelled way back 2013 then so be it. rather than dragging it too long...
