Gears of War 1 Remastered for the Xbox One Gameplay Screenshots – this time for real!

 

After yesterday’s debacle with what was thought to be images Gears of War Remastered for the Xbox One (sadly turning out just be hi-res images modded on the PC with 4K resolution) today we actually have images for you.

 

Now be pre-warned – the quality is not good, I’m pretty sure who ever took these pics (can’t tell you, won’t tell you, so don’t ask me) must have been using a potato for a camera but here is what you should have got yesterday instead of modded PC plants.

Now don’t go getting all up in arms about this ruining the launch as we already know about the Gears of War 1 Remastered for the Xbox One. This just adds a bit more weight to those rumors and gives the Gears community some solid hope that we have an announcement coming very soon.

I have actually seen this video footage, this is just some stills that were taken from that. So sit back, relax and know that Gears of War is on it’s way to an Xbox One near you soon.

Updated with More Pictures: We’ll surely hear more from Microsoft and developer Black Tusk Studios at E3 this year.

Why does every game have to have team deathmatch
just give me the original game to play again in 1080p with a better online infrastructure.

Its very needed.  While Gears 1 by far has the most nostalgia for m in video games, it needs some updates like no lag, no huge host advantage, and other things that Gears 3 had.

Well those are fine but I like it as it is.

That made me love the firsts multiplayer so much.

Thing about Gears 1 was, it was incredibly broken but amazing at the same time lol  There was a lot of unwritten rules or you would be booted by host so it kept a lot of the broken stuff away.  This was before party chat though, so if you did something like that you would hear it, but now people are mostly silent in games.  That stuff would hurt the game now, and plus host advantage to that pedigree should never happen lol  

Overall Gears 3 is a much better game on all fronts so it needs to be updated to play more like it.

I wonder what they will improve or if they will change anything gameplay wise. Dedicated servers, gametypes from gears 3 and support through xp events and such would make for a great remaster. Only thing I would really change gameplay wise would be the fluidity and movement being more akin to gears 3.
