Thoughts on Additional Content

Splatoon Content, TriForce Heroes Content, Super Mario Maker Content etc.

Splatoon is nice, 2 more maps and a lot more gear to upgrade! The 2nd map Maki Maki (?) looks really annoying though.. that probably will be my least favourite stage in Splatoon. Hopefully I'm proven wrong though. The Museum Stage looks pretty interesting!

Interesting incorporation of using your phone to browse for courses in SMM, but am not sure why they don't add that into the game itself so you can do that on the Wii U :/

Well the Wii U does have an internet browser so you can, but yeah that's still weird.

I'm still hoping that they will adapt the HW:Legends content to the WiiU version. I want to play with Skull Kid and female Link so bad! I don't think it's worth my money if I already have the WiiU game...

I guess its all for the "Portability" when you're out.

Yeah! I heard stuff about how if you buy HW: Legends, you can get all the new characters on the Wii U for free. But i dont think this has been confirmed (It was certainly not mentioned today, or unless the EU Direct had something else)

Addicional thoughts on the direct:

Im almost sure that Clouds inclusion in Smash was not due to the ballot.First because we had a gameplay trailer relativily close to the ballots closure, and i doubt a deal like this, Clouds inclusion in smash, could have been worked so fast.So the ballots results is most likely comming in december.Which also indicates a better and growing relation between the two companies.

Another point of interest is the mention of special deals for black friday.I dont think Nintendo would mention anything if they hadnt got a very good deal.Which means either a really good bundle(maybe even better than the one shown), or most likely a price drop for it.Now, if it is a price drop, it remains the question if it either temporary(for the black friday only) or if it is permanent.

No, I watched the EU Direct and, unless I missed it, they didn't mention anything. I'd prefer something like a low price DLC, because I don't know if Legends will be so different of the WiiU version. And paying a full priced game for some characters is not very reasonable...
