There has been a lot of questions about Black ops III in the last few days and one of which was if this Call of Duty will not appear on Xbox 360 and PS3.  THis would in retun foce those players lagging in the last generation to upgrade to the Xbox One and PS4.  THis is a vey big deal considering the popularity behind the Call of Duty franshie.  And since they excluded the names of Xbox 360 and PS3 in the beta announcement, many believes this is the case of moving to PS4/XBO only.

It's likely because Treyarch might still be using the same engine as the previous game. Sorry, I meant all previous games.

I thought OP was very well done. 

Stupid if they release on last gen. A money grab. We need to move on from last gen. If you look at gen #7 it came unto it's own in 2007 (Uncharted, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3) and in 2015 we're in that same time frame respectively.

I would actually be surprised if it didn't come on last gen as well, which to be quite blunt, is very unfortunate. At first glance, bravo to Activision if they did step up into the next gen 3 years later. It's not like having 10 year old consoles editions of your game isn't financially taxing. Farming out additional development to other studios to port isn't cheap. Plus the printing and distribution of PS3 and Xbox 360 discs. Not to mention holding back a potentially next gen vision for the game purely to make it available on 10 year old technology.

It is 2015 and people are still refering to xboxone and ps4 as next gen. This has got to stop!
