I forgot to mention in case anyone didn't know, the benchmark gives players a chance to see if their PC can handle the upcoming expansion.

The benchmark will be released Monday April 27th 2015 so it's giving PC gamers nearly two months to upgrade before the expansion’s June release. PS4 users don't have to worry about benchmarking, since the game is already optimized to play on it.

Bit of an odd benchmark, there's plenty of objects on the screen but XIV honestly doesn't look heavily demanding like rig crippling, characters still looking nice as ever but the rest doesn't scream graphically enhanced or heavy, 3D mark looks somewhat more detailed than this but XIV is also an MMO in the end so I wouldn't expect quare to make it the most graphically intense looking FF.

Isn't this also supposed to be featuring the DX11 enhancements as well like they showed in a few screenshots a couple months back?.

DX11 is coming at the sametime the expansion is released, and yeah you can see over +100 characters on screen at once. (not on PS3 though)

Makes sense, I'm guessing this is completely PS4/PC only then, this doesn't mean there will be any content changes to PS3 though does it apart from visuals?.

This is the last expansion that will be released on PS3.
