Wow, $249.99 and $199.99 Xbones being thrown out there by users. That's pretty funny. People do realize that's the same price as X360 right?

Yea, really.  I think the lowest either one is going to drop their price to is $299.

If you're an Xbox One owner sure the line up is good but games like Titanfall, Project Spark, and Killer Instict virtually had no impact on Microsfts success. Arguably the biggest game this year; Batman will actually help push PS4 sales due to Sony's better advertising plan, much like what they did with Destiny. Personally I believe people will buy what they see in variety. Xbox One lacks that variety that the PS4 has. PS4 has great internal support, the japanese developers and the much better 3rd party advertising plan. Micorsoft will definitely lose the sales battle and I mean by a lot because they have 0 chance to win the "year" in terms of sales, as to who has the better library? That is gonna be different from person to person. You're right about them building a library of great exclusives though. I dont think Tomb Raider will do anything for hardware sales that's a playstation game on the wrong platform really but Halo 5 will sell like hotcakes.

I own a PS4 and Xbox One, but the Xbox One has been getting more play because it's had more exclusives available that I want to play. When Tekken comes on the PS4 I am turning that baby back on. I already know how great Sony is, but they aren't securing hits like Microsoft is even if the world doesn't know about it. This is coming from someone who games mostly on Sony (even though I game on multiple consoles), and I know that Sony's first two years are generally the worst, so I expect this until they build up their new IP's like I know they can. The Wii U is also getting some love from me this year. It will make a great third to my collection for the gen so I miss out on nothing.

Tomb Raider has gained a following after being on multiple consoles just like Dark Souls. It might persuade a couple of people to pick up an Xbox One just like Halo 5 will get quite a few people to get Xbox Ones this year. The PS4 has nothing really of note for the restof the year after Bloodborne and no Until Dawn wont even dent Microsofts exclusives and timed exclusives.

It's a little too subjective; for me, only Titanfall was an exclusive to care about (possibly the best of all 3 consoles). Essentially, every other big ticket item was/is multiplat. No, I have not played Bloodborne, but it does not have the appeal to me that TF has. My most played games were/are Destiny and Far Cry 4, and my most anticipated games are Batman, FF XVI, MGS V, and UC4 (3 of 4 are multiplat). Most exclusives this gen have been filler, but judgment is still reserved on BB (I won't assume anything.). By that token, I'd have to say Sony was, is, and should continue to win.

Possibly, but PS4 still has a chance to win holiday..

PS4 will win for sure the Holiday in the Global; the only battle will be in NA and UK(sales); but the OP is talking about Exclusive games and line up in general, so I would say MS is in a very good shape; we will see what Sony and Nintendo will show at the E3.

PS4 is at 7.87 in NA. Xbone is at 7.14 in NA. Yes, I do believe Halo 5 will be enough to take over NA and from there on just keep on running. Remember that MS isn't shy to cut the price for Christmas. $249 Xbone standing next to a Halo 5? How is Sony going to compete with that? I'm European, so can't truely judge the Halo 5 effect, but I get the impression that the craze it causes can only be matched by GT when it comes to Sony's games. It is hard for me to imagine how Sony could turn people's attention away from Xbone this Christmas. Xbone is going to be the console to get this year, MS will make damn sure about that.

PS4 will be more than 1 million ahead of X1 in North America before the holiday season. I really don't think that Halo 5 can somehow close the gap in such a short timespan. Such a thing is unheard of. PS4 dominates the region without even officially having a price cut while X1 has had every sort of deal yet still manages to come up short. The fact that its cheaper now and still selling worse just proves that it can't even compete with PS4 on even ground, let alone cheaper ground. Microsoft have to compete on the biggest handicap to even have a chance to truly  dominate, and that's only for a short while. X1 may get a big boost in the holiday season, but that won't be enough to nullify the PS4's lead for this entire year or the next year or the year after that and so on.

Not to mention that software sales in NA are greater for PS4 than on X1 and the gap will only grow

Simple. The Xbox One would have to outsell Sony by a million with their outrageous Xbox One holiday deals that they have every year. They also have black friday. Sony has the world but Microsoft will be damned if they lose America.
