Just got the game yesterday and started tonight. Not too far yet, mostly just getting used to the game mechanics but it's pretty excellent so far. Hopefully as my classes end I'll be able to put in a lot more time into this.

Stuck at the third boss, I got the riflespear but I didn't look at the requirements and you need 9 bloodthing to use it and I'm at 5 and to high of a level to be able to upgrade to 9 in the area I'm at so I have to beat the boss lol.

While they launch an attack you can stun the enemies with the shotgun, the flame trowher cant stun them but makes lots of damage

I think most people dont know you have to press R3 to focus in order to dodge her attacks, with every boss it works like that. I had problems too until i found it out

FF Type-0 is at 85. 11 days after release and still in top 100. Not bad. Considering, many bought it for the demo, and Bloodborne has arrived and is wrecking shit.

I legit just lost 26 insights at the Choir level before Ebrietas cause of these suckers. I don't even know anymore it's so frustrating.

The only useful thing I can use the Blunderbuss for is to stun enemies because the damage I do is minimal. But that's because I started with the Cruel Fate build so I only have 5 in my bloodtinge stat

Cathedral WP to the right there is an elevator that previously did not work. Use it. It is in a chest on the 3rd floor of that tower across the bridge you cant miss it as the whole point of this area is to get the emblem that lets you buy Ludwigs GS and Ludwig's rifle(less scatter than Blunderbuss, but seems to have higher impact).

I f'ing love this weapon. I have it at +5 right now and is scales B str and C skl (I saw it scales B B at +8) and since I softcapped STR at 25 the C scaling in Skill is really increasing my damage. I know one shot all normal enemies Old Yarnem and prior, take 3 hits with it in GS mode to kill a werewolve, and my favorite.... I took me one charged hit to kill the Axe guy down the alley near the 2nd WP at the beggining of the game.

I got the greatsword, I´ve got it upgraded to +6 right now.Yes it´s an amazing weapon and it scales very well with everything except bloodtinge, very well balanced.

By the way, as for the elevator in the bolded part, maybe you know this, but as it goes up or down there´s a secret door  if you keep facing one of the walls.
