fuck Vicar

Around the Network

I'm a bit surprised so many are having trouble with Vicar Amelia, the kirkhammer hammer form made short work of her, and most bosses frankly. It may be slow but if you have your positioning and timing right it can stun most anything with the right attack(s) giving you time to land another hit or gain distance to avoid the enemy's salvo.

Beat "Darkbeast Parrl" defeated it on my 3rd attempt, I am LOVING Ludwig's holy blade, both it and my saw cleaver are at +6(grinded those bloodsack enemies like hell...also boosted my lvl a crazy amount)

picked up some decent bloodgems for my weapons, my saw cleaver does 7.4% more damage when I'm at full health and I regain more health when hitting an enemy who hurt me

I put an increase of 7.1% fire damage for my holy blade but it reduced my damage by over 100...I'll just stick with fire and bolt paper

Nightmare Frontier is the Blighttown of this game...It is so annoying to deal with projectiles boulders 1 hit kill, crazy bitch who gets you frenzied, plus the swamp that poisons you and makes it harder to run from the two previous points. Add on top of that cliffs and enemies pushing you off the cliff. It's a rage inducing stage.

EDIT: FInally beat the boss. It was hectic because my co-op died within seconds and when I got to half her hp, my vials were done. Damn, the adrenaline.

:) Man i am in love with this game, found the flame trowher. Its a terrefic weapon to use, once your stamina is gone its like an extra attack. Its very good against the wolfs

Am I the only one who doesn't use the secondary weapon (Blunderbuss/Pistol)? Because I am doing just fine with just my axe weapon thingy. The only time I really needed the Blunderbuss (the one I chose) was when I had to kill the hunter that attacks you with a machine gun.

You're not alone, so far I have found the gun useless for the most part. I don't use it except to shoot dogs down.

I use a 2H sword alot, but I do use my gun for parries when i am 1H mode. Certain enemies are much easier to parry (like the dudes with the lanterns outside of the cathedral)

Just beat the Shadow of Yarhnam. Great boss fight, fighting 3v3 was a lot of fun. I can only imagine how hectic a 1v3 would be, kinda like The Four Kings in Dark Souls. However, I read somewhere that there's a bug regarding Forbidden Woods? If you use the only feature at that location, you apparently miss out on something big because of some sort of progression bug?

And wow @ the Insight thing, I never knew. I was always wasting them on co-op feature lol.

You ruined what was possibley the most intense boss fight ever. 3v1 was an amazing expirience. In saying that I then ruined it for others for the next 3 hours after I beat it... yes I replayed this boss for 3 hours straight

I just dodge everything and quickly move in with a few hits and dodge again. Absolutely nothing can hit you if you time the dodge correctly, doesn't matter how close you are or what the attack is.

Kind of reminds me of Monster Hunter with the timing, you have to be absolutely flawless if you don't want to get hit.
