No, it's not a tax month unlike February

ya but it has games. Feb had Evolve (which was marketed for XB1) and the Order (panned by critics).

Ya you can say last year the PS4 had Infamous in march to that cancels out BB, but I would disagree. If you remember PS4 sales were driven by supply available until April of last year so there is no way to judge demand for the PS4 prior to that. (except it was higher than supply)

I'm with you brother!

I'm actually expecting a 135k - 145k gap with the PS4 on 400k+ and the XB1 on 300k-

Yep, same here.

I'm even more convinced it's possible after following the Amazon thread.

The PS5 Exists.

I think it will be 400 in US, and 1 million on global.
PS4 has everything now to start going higher in sales, the chinese market, a bunch of games coming this year, the future VR, etc...

To be on the safe side, I'm going to go with 850k - 900k but I definitely wouldn't rule out 1m

Based on software release comparisons I predicted 410 but people are bringing up taxes, so I presume that artificially inflated Febs numbers?

Either way I believe Bloodborne will shift more hardware in its immediate release then The Order did.

But that could also be offset by Bloodborne and a 5 week month. That's why I'm playing it safe for now.

I'm not sure why people keep bringing up the tax argument since last year March had a bigger month than Feb because of the games, same here.

News to me.

@Ali_16x it wasn't because of games, it was because of supply constraints in February. That's also why X1 nearly equaled PS4 sales in Feb 2014.

how many weeks is march? either way i think 400K is a bit high. hopefully it can stay flat or be a bit higher than feb, which was a huge month for PS4

It is 5 weeks vs 4 weeks (Feb).
