This thread is about 2015. How many times does that have to be said? 

Erm, you made this thread because you thought it was amazing that the PS4 outsold the 3DS so far this year after a revision for the 3DS was released. I just showed you a poll where the majority of the people thought the PS4 would win even in February.

I am talking about 2015, but we can only talk about the first two months right now.

It's amazing because last gen ps3 was dominated by the DS. Playstation was David and now it's risen as the ps4 and slain goliath.  This years start has beaten every 3ds start to a year ever.  

It's an amazing turn around and feat.  Especially when the handheld had a new SKU release. 

What does the PS3 and DS have to do with this? You're moving goalposts.

It was obvious from the start the PS4 wasn't going to be a PS3. For starters, it was $200 (!) cheaper at launch and second off all, it's much easier to develop for.

Nintendo meanwhile has to compete with the smartphone market which makes the gaming market look like a fucking joke. It was also Nintendo's most expensive handheld ever at launch. It was obvious from the start the 3DS wasn't going to repeat the success of the DS.

So I'm not allowed to compare the two best selling consoles of  2015 then?  

It's 200$ cheaper then ps4, had two big exclusives launch and a new model that is apparently supposed to see it keep going until next gen.  

Those threads most people were thinking in terms of x1 vs ps4. I remember predicting a slight win before someone pointed out the new model was releasing and i changed my mind.  If you read most of the comments people were saying 3ds.  

If February plus March is more in favour of the ps4 that'll be even bigger but the first 3 months will easily be ps4. 

lol you're really grasping for straws. Since you insist on talking about totally different consoles, and you're such an obvious diehard Sony fan, why don't I mention this: 

The Vita has sold 10 million units in four years. It's getting its ass pounded by everything, especially the 3DS. It's a complete flop, and probably the end of Sony's handheld days. 

Compare that, why don't you? 

So you're blaming the fact the PS4 lost February on good business decisions by Nintendo? Not really a good point there...

Now this is funny.  When people would say that the 3DS was beating the PS4 in sales, all the Sony loyalist would cry foul stating that you couldn't compare sales of a haldheld to a console so it was invalid.  Now that the PS4 is beating the 3DS, it's a big deal.....

PS4 had an exceptional February.  I'm saying those good decisions were still not enough to put it ahead of the ps4 for 2015. 

Again this is a 2015 comparison not a one month comparison.

You can't compare the price of handhelds with consoles. People are willing to pay more for a home console than a handheld, that's a fact.

Just because a certain product is cheaper than another doesn't mean people are more inclined to buy it. There's loads of people buying the overpriced Apple products after all.

And the poll proved you were wrong. Just accept it. In fact, the poll in your own thread is proving you wrong. It wasn't surprising at all.
