Playstation All Stars Battle Royal in both gameplay and Sales compared to SSB. Heck, I dont even think it has a music player to listen to all the songs

Wow, I just looked it up and apparently PASBR didn't even sell a million unless you combine both versions. That's shocking to me.

OP: I'd say Sports Champions failed at trying to copy Wii Sports.

How much did PSASBR do anyway? Yeah, it wasnt very good. There was no Competitive scene either to keep it alive, but it makes sense giving the fighting system.

Well, if you combine the ps3 and ps vita versions, its about 1.32 million according to vgc and the lowest selling smash bros atm which is smash bros for wiiU managed to outsell the combined total of both versions in less than one month or the 3ds version outsold the ps3 version in two days

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

The entire Apple/Android/Google app store, practically any game on any of those stores tries really badly to cash in on copy cat ideas from more popular games on consoles/PC's and often fail at it or make it big because people are too stupid to see the cash cow scheme with little effort put in.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

- All 'kart' games failed against Mario Kart
- Dante's Inferno failed against God of War (it felt like a poor man's version of GoW)
- All 2D sidescroll fighthing failed against Street Fighter
- Playstation Allstars failed agasint Smash Bros
- All 2D platformers failed against Mario, except LBP did one step better and brought in 4 player coop platformer games which Mario and Rayman copied.
- Zelda failed against 3D Dot game heroes ....lol jk 3D Dot game heroes is a great homage to classic Zelda and would recommend it to fans of Zelda and that type of gameplay.

I love Killzone, but it's just so far from being as good.

I don't get it! How did Killzone copy Halo?! It's a completely different type of shooter and the playstyle is totally different.

Dragon Age 2 failed to copy Dragon Age Origins.

If only it DID try to copy it instead of going more casual/console friendly in a very compact repetitive environment. DAI failed as well in trying to become DAO again because it forgot to implement interesting Quest, which DA2 had ironically!

Considering the sheer number of 2D platformers (many of them excellent and varying in style and tone) on the 8 and 16 bit systems, that's really not accurate.
