What are these consequences?
I doubt the features would have improved sales really. Having Mario Kart 8 at launch probably would have improved sales but not to the point where it would be say 20 million Wii U units sold by now.

As usual, its never Nintendo's fault. You say it enough times and it'll eventually comes true, right?
