like 50% of youtbube videos I watch just play normally but with a black screen. 

Ive tried everything. 

unticked enable hardware accelerations because all my facebook videos were black (now fixed), but youtube stills effed.

tried uninstalling chrome completely and flash player but its still doing it on my laptop. so frustrating.

its been happening for about 2 weeks. surely there is an easy fix somewhere google has nothing useful.

Buy another one, there problem solved.

HTML5 is the new standard since late January, maybe it's because of that.

Try the opposite setting to the one that you use at the moment.

Have you tried kicking and shouting at it?

Have you cleared your browser cache?

The same thing happens to me.

Maybe your hard drive is full. Some shit just don't like to work right when you have little space left. Happened to me a few weeks ago with programs not working right. Computer works fine now after giving it a lot of space to work with.

Yes many times, also gave 100s of GB free on the hard drive do thats not the problem. Hsvnt tried another browser but don't want to I want to use chrome and shouldn't have to use another one. This is so annoying and weird. It can't be flash player can it?
