Forums - Gaming Discussion - Life is Strange is AMAZING and you should all play it

I am gonna give this a try. It looks like a cool story. If i don't like it, I only lose out on $5. I am actually ok with episodic content when I think about it this way.

glad you enjoy it. if the rest of the season is still good i'll consider the full game then.

When playing this game I kept thinking how much better value it was than Gone Home.

Gone home was a good game that was way overpriced.

Awesome game that only cost $5 for an episode. And there is a demo to try as well.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

well when the game is full, maybe I ll try it.

I don't like story messing, with time, they don't care about the butterfly effect O_O, resulting in apocalyptic world eventually.

I'm waiting until the complete series is out because I absolutely HATE when companies release episodic crap like this. It looks interesting but I will wait til I can play the whole game. Whoever started that model needs to be shot.

thanks. but no thanks. i really dislike these cliched ii-have-powers-teenage-highschool-hipster-teacher-etc. scenarios and all their cheesy dialogues.

Hunting Season is done...

I bought it already. First episode is fantastic with great music and voice acting. I just hate episodic content.

It really puts Quantic Dreams on the spot with all these adventure game developers putting out more software in a more frequent manner

I assume writing for these kinds of games takes long, that's why they get released in seasons, but QD games contain the full story with better visuals and animations. They still need to step their game up because they're not the only ones working on this genre now.

They used to be at the forefront of the genre with Heavy Rain. Nowadays many devs see that releasing these type of games in an episodic way makes things a lot easier. The only trade off is the production quality will be lower since no other adventure genredev has the cinematic quality of a QD game
