Managed to find? Nope, it was on the front page of this site.

Where ever you found it it doesn't excuse you from consiously posting it. It is the hot gaming issue at the monent and you picked that.

Your words were "(piediepie) bashes Nintendo".  I have nothing more to add.

Pretty much all game outcomes are exactly the same. You may be able to choose a couple different ways of accomplishing the goal but all the games mechanics, graphics, main story plots and animations will be the same. If you watch a entire game played 100% without touching a controller do you really think you haven't had 75%+ of the entire experience? Besides multiplayer, why would most people pick a game of which they've already seen all the best experiences a developer created. I understand some people would probably want to be hands on themselves but doesn't it kill the gaming experience that was intended?

If the hypothetical video falls under fair use they could totally do it. Obviously, it is a ton of hyperbole behind this situation, I am just pointing out how easily it could be turned on its head.

They actually link you to the gov. website too.

So what exactly did I say that I need to be enlightened with.

He believes he contribute to Nintendo marketing and selling of games and as such he should be allowed to have full claim of the ad revenue he collects on Youtube.

He believes....

And all of these too!!! Oh my God, it's a dream come true!!! I'm gettin' an edumication!

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

My words were the original title of the article.

And you entering this thread (at your own choice) don't oblige you to be disrespectful.

Can you provide me a link to a let's play of his that is a Nintendo game that isn't through an emulator?

Make your point if you have one. But I would also like a response to being caught red handed 100% distorting what PDP said.

You're the one who originally quoted me. What is your point? The burden is on you. Go back to my discussion with Intrinsic. He said that PewDiePie gives Nintendo advertisment. I replied that he doesn't. He misunderstood my post. Then I clarified it. Then you respond first by making a false statment, "He DOES Nintendo games." Which I called you out on. The rest of your post was irrelvent to my and Intrinsic's discussion. I have a feeling that your response was induced by my, "he is scared other companies will follow suit." And yes, he has to be at least a little bit scared because that can affect his living (if popular gaming companies take a portion of his revenue.) Is he going to avoid all big releases? Of course not. Hence, the reason why he is arguing against this. Now please go take your disoriented and defensive disposition elsewhere, to someone who wants to discuss it with you.

DigitalDevilSummoner do you profit from this kind of videos to be so invested on it and proving everyone wrong and being so fierce about it???

So, we went from "He's scared..." to "...he has to be...".

It is more similar to covering a famous song.

That case is extremely settled. Video games are not - a court could easily come down on - videos are original works and fair use for commentary reasons (Nintendo has no claim) OR substantial reproduction of content (Nintendo has full claim).

Yeah I agree with you. Which is why I have no problem with guys like Angry Joe being upset because he more than covers this with Commentary/Parody and Review in his videos.

Let's Players though should be flagged and are lucky to receive any monetization.
