Saw this on Gamefaqs. I can easily tell the difference (I can see the difference between 30fps and 40fps), but some people can't. I don't care if you care one way or the other about 30fps vs. 60fps, this is just a technical question about how you perceive digital motion.

The results so far:

When I played Forza Motorsport 5 I did definitely notice it was smoother than most other games, but I'm not sure if I'll see it on less fast paced games to be honest.

Yes, it is as clear as the difference between 720p vs. 1080p is. Just watch any video on youtube of a 60fps in 30fps and in 60fps, you should notice the difference.

You just have to lock a game to 30fps on your PC and then unlock it and see the difference on 60fps, if you don´t see the difference then you are blind or you like to lie yourself, it´s pretty obvious.

It's very easy, especially for first person shooting games. 30 fps games always make me fuzzy and hurt my eyes, especially FPS games while 60fps is not.

And, somehow, nobody seemed to give a crap before this generation rolled in. What does that say, I wonder...

well in some games its hard to see the difference between 30 and 60. but in the most games its realy easy.

and even easyer is between 30 and 35.

Cannot, not even close, and I also have problems telling apart 720p and 1080p unless I go really up-close. I can tell the difference between 24 and 30 fps tho - and finally, I am really annoyed by tearing, because for some reason I see even the smallest amount of that T_T
