My prediction stands!!! 

I was expecting Nintendo to drop the price of the Wii U to $249.99 with a Smash Bros/ MK8 bundle for the fall/holidays but for some reason they don't like money and screwed my estimate. So.........

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Nintendo cuts the price of the Wii U to $229.99 USD by Fall "crosses fingers" followed by a proper 3D Mario releasing in November. If his happens I believe it will help propel sales of 5-6 million for it's peak year.

As for 3DS I expect a massive price drop for regular and XL versions and when including sales of New 3DS  in EU/N.A I believe it will help push sales of 12-13 million.

It`s always best to make outlandish predictions because if you are right, then you can act like you had some kind of foresight :P

You were off 3.8m units, not sure a price cut and bundle wouldn't done that :P but fair enough, will be exciting to see what they do later this year (or even earlier!)

well even though wii u doesnt have as big sellers

after febuary its 1 or 2 games a month in US,JP, and EU

which will make small boost(especially wii u's march-may games in japan)

Wow 2014 collective wisdom for Xb one was pretty good. Collective wisdom for everything else was shit. PS4 the only console that was massively under predicted. I wonder what it says about the Xb one holiday price cut that the 2014 predictions came in as possibly slightly above actual sales (subject to post financial reporting adjustment of course)? The main bulk of the year was way shittier than people thought it would be and the holiday sale price "saved" Xb one (this is probably it), or the holiday sales were not substantially higher than people thought they would be back in Jan 2014, the year played out more or less as expected and the holiday proice cut really didn't do much (unlikely, as without the holiday price cut Xb one would have tanked, IMO)?

I see PS4 having very good growth, Xb one having reasonable growth, Wii U relatively flat, 3DS and PSV YoY decline.

PS4 easily >50% market share, but not 2:1 vs Xb one.

Actually everthing other than 3DS is bold. Vita will have negative sales even,  that's incredibly bold. Predicting PS4 will sell 2 million less in 2015 vs 2014 is well crazy. And that Xb one will outsell PS4 for the year (14M vs 11.8M) is just wow. The Wii U is the least bold of all those bolded predictions.
