"They," as in the Amiibo Figures and GC Adapters.

Those sold out within days, Nintendo is obviously making way to low supply because they underestimate how much they will sell

Hahahaha... Yeah... Limited edition is a problem. And i agree with you about the GC adapter & Amiibo.

Nintendo isn't exactly the smartest company out there.

Nintendo always underestimates how much demand there is. Hmm, I wonder why... *stares directly at the # of people that own a Wii U*

Perhaps to bottleneck supply to keep demand going longer. Casuals are more likely to buy something they think is popular at the moment for their kids and for themselves. I imagine that's nintendo's line of thought on it.

For the Zelda related stuff, I'm pretty sure they're limited edition.

As for the Smash related stuff. especially the GC adapter, it is pretty ridiculous. In fact, it's so ridiculous that Mayflash, AN UNOFFICIAL 3RD PARTY COMPANY, started selling their own adapter a couple days ago, and even that is getting high demand.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Seriously, what is up with them....

...The problem is that they always underestimate how much something will sell, and then don't send out that many copies of it, when really the demand is huge

I disagree on the Limited editions, because those are well limited, but maybe they could increase the numbers a little bit, or charge more from the get go, they are only charging 10 U$ extra for the Majora's Mask edition, if they charged I don't know 60 - 70 U$ it will still sold out but not as fast and they would make more money out of it.

I do agree on the not limited stuff (GC adapters and amiibos), they should meassure better the demand and not "discontinue" the products, just order a new batch produced and put it on the market faster than they are doing now, is easy to see that the resellers are making a lot of profit on these product just because they are not giving more units to the store, hell even if they just ensure to the people that more are coming that will keep the price in check because the speculation will reduce a little. Who makes this decision on NoA?

People say it is hard to find some amiibos, but I have found both Samus and Link twice now. What else is limited? I will find it over the next week.

Samus and Link are not rare, at all. Tell me when you get some Villager and Marth amiibos at your Walmart

The things are called limited for a reason, wasn't the PS4 20th anniversary edition sold out in like an hour? these kind of 'exclusive' things are meant to be that way, and yeah scalpers suck big time, but sadly that's how capitalism works.

There's no excuse for some of the Amiibos and the GC controller adapter though, those make no sense.
