4.2m were as of 28th december 2013
just one week off, but still not 100% correct

 

so this 14.3m are 53 weeks of sales not 52

I'm guessing between 16.5 to 17 million consoles next year. 14.3 is really good for it's first full year though.

30% YoY growth, but mostly coming after the $50 price cut. Game releases before then should help though.

2015 will be indeed huge for the PS4, I'd say 17-18 million

According to VGC*


PS4 has seen an increase of 9.36 % in sales in Q1 2015, compared to Q1 2014.

Such an increase means, that PS4 is headed towards 15,6 m sold in 2015, compared to 14,3 in 2014.



Bear in mind, that PS4 is likely to receive a price-cut later this year. 

I estimate that a total increase of 20-25 % is well within reach. Which would put PS4 at 17,2 - 17,9 in 2015

its all depends on if it gets a pricecut, when it gets one and by how much. A 299.99 PS4 in late August and I think it sell over 18m+, if they just go the bundle route I think it is slightly down YoY. A 349.99 PS4 gets it to 16m.
