PS4 holds massive lead vs Xbox One in Germany

Sony appears to have Europe's second largest market in the bag.

PlayStation 4 seems to have a firm grip of the video game market in Germany. According to Börse Online, Sony has now reached 1.2 million sold consoles with Microsoft and their Xbox One far behind with 270,000 sold units. That means it's 4.4 PlayStation 4s sold on every Xbox One. Germany has always been something of a PlayStation market and last generation PS3 held a healthy lead over Xbox 360, but the margin is much wider this time around

It's still 100k out. That might not be much for a much bigger market but it's significant for a smaller market. We now know it should be 16.2m just with these figures alone.

edit: Actually I think you're more right than I am. I forgot the VGC numbers are from the 29th Nov.

I think that this is just someones guess - "Börse online" still says this is GfK data, eventhough GfK themselves said this is not the case.

Might be in this range, but this is just a guess by somebody online and a random newssite picked it up.

It's a leak so they're not going to acknowledge the data...Kind of like NPD doesn't acknowledge gaf leaks.

PS4 hit 1m in October so it's highly likely it's at 1.2m now. XB1 is not doing well in Germany at all, that is a fact.

naja bis auf last of us und das kommende god of war 4 scheint nix so dolle zu sein was es net auch auf anderen plattformen spielbar ist.
