I don't get what the issue is with Club Nintendo... Its a free bonus for buying games on Nintendo platform with no yearly fee... Whats so bad about it?

What do people expect from a free service that gives u more free stuff anyway? I am legit curious :/

I'm in Europe and can't do anything with all my points from games. I've bought a lot and can't even get something decent off it. Nintendo should reward loyal customers who buy lot's of games with an occasional free game... They really do suck in this department.

If I spend €1000 on Nintendo products I could maybe get a Mario pen or something from Club Nintendo. That's why it sucks. I don't even bother registering my games anymore.

I don't get it. You don't have to pay to join NC. Is FREE and you get others things for FREE. You just need to buy Nintendo stuffs.

I'm sorry but competition? What competition? Don't say PSN or Xbox Live, because they compete with the Nintendo Network, not Club Nintendo, completely different can of worms. The only competition I can think is Xboxs reward program, and honestly, I think that sucks way harder. (prospective from someone in USA)

Compared to what? It's free. Every once in a while I get a pretty cool game (F-Zero X, Mario RPG, Metroid II) out of the blue with no strings attached. It's not supposed to be PS Plus and it doesn't cost $50 per year.

So what ur saying is... They should give u free stuff for buying a game u would have bought anyway? No one buys games for Club Nintendo, all club Nintendo is, is a bonus for buying the games that u would enjoy anyway... It seems pretty entitled to me

It's called marketing 101. I'd buy a lot more Nintendo products if Nintendo rewarded my loyality. Instead we get some mediocre program. Don't bother doing something if it's going to be mediocre. Only bother doing something if you know it will be good.

I agree 100%

Third party understands this thats why they are absent on Nintendo consoles :) They know our mentality.

Yes, if I spend €1000 on Nintendo products, I expect a better treatment then those who only buy 3 games for a whole generation.

Wow, I didn't think people could be so spoiled about this. Club Nintendo gives me free games, I can't complain about that.

Club Nintendo Europe gives you nothing. No free games, trust me.

I don't like the rewards frankly, I remember one time they 'gave away' Dillon's Rolling Western and that was awesome, they should put more games like that.

I'm personally not interested at all in any NES or SNES games, and I haven't seen anything interesting for the N64 either (and these are a pain since they need to be played on the Wii U's Wii mode). At least put some GBA games....

Isn't the enjoyment you get from the games sufficient?
