Forums - Gaming Discussion - Just Platinumed Dragon Age: Inquistion

Pretty stoked. I played the game to lvl 15 on normal and it was getting too easy so I rerolled on nightmare because I loved the game so much I wanted to plat it. It's only my 3rd platinum and the other 2 were really easy platinums (Wolftenstein PS4 and Infamous:SS).

If anyone else wants to plat it just look up the missable trophies to make sure you do them right, craft like crazy (you need to if you don't want to pull your hair out on nightmare), and don't quit during act 1 when it is pure pain, once you get to act 2 you will have your specialization classes and you can grap tier 3 mats and schematics even at lvl 10 (you just have to know where to look where no enemies are near by)

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Congrats, I don't think I've platinumed a single PS3 game. I have got all the achievements on one or maybe two of my 360 games tho.  Can't remember which, but I remember seeing 1000 gamerscore on some.

I like the game a lot, it's my GOTY, but I don't think I'm going to plat it.

good going, want a really hard challenge, plat dead space two

The game is sooo good. It grabs you and never let go.

I'm not sure whether I want to get all the achievements

How many hours?

20 hours in and I just died for the first time, but I really don't want to repeat those 20 hours to make it challenging. I'm also playing on PC so there is no real platinum....

My nightmare playing was about 90 hours. You can do can plat it in one play through if you check on missables.

i am am not a trophy hunter, but going for the plat in this instance was very rewarding, there were times I wanted to drop the difficulty but I knew if I did my shot at a platinum was done. Really key thing on NM is try to be as gear as you possibly can and at least one level over recommend for a main story mission, also save often.

Yeah I can imagine, I just don't know if I can keep up that focus for 90 hours...

It got easier as it went on. I killed the final dragon at an equal level, I Rick rolled the final boss at 2 levels higher. if you can get to skyhold you are home free, it still take gathering and crafting but at that point you get over gear if needed. When I got to level 15 on normal it was too easy, on nightmare it was a blast, my tactics, class specs, and gear still matter.

I recommend you roll a Mage on nightmare as Knight Enchanter is the best class and the inquisitor get perks the other chars do not. my inquisitor was sword and shield which worked well to, but I controlled Vivienne 75% of the time...

How many hours did you clock in? I'm above 50 and I am not even half through.
