ROFLOL! After FFXII's disappointment and hearing about Crystal Bearers being compared to Skies of Arcadia (+10 interest), I don't even care about the main series anymore. Do whatever ya want with it, SE. :) I'll get Crystal Cronicles DS and Tactics Advance 2 DS as well though. :)

 umm a 5 million sold world wide disappointment is an opinoin of your own not what everyone thiks. selling 5 million world wide is a success for any game. as for the other games you just sound like someone just not willing to pay the good money for the great games. the DS games will be good but they are a whole different rpg style from the main seres. IMO tactics advanced never a had a serious story like the original tactics did which is why i never had the urg to finish the second half of that game much less care about a tactics advanced 2. i want a true tactics sequal.

oh and what is it that no one understands.. the PS3 didnt lose FFXIII... FFXIII is exclusive to the PS3 as is FFvXIII its FFhXIII thats still unknown on what console its going to (most likely 360). 

I was only referring to my own opinion, sorry I didn't state that very well. For me the best jRPG's of last Gen were Skies of Arcadia and Suikoden V. Still a few unfinished/unplayed though, I have yet to finish Baten Kaitos Origins, and still trying to pick up Xenosaga III, Tales of the Abyss, Valkyrie Profile 2, and Radiata Stories though. I enjoyed Final Fantasy X fairly well, but it's far from my favs. Also I'd actually admit, although I haven't finished it, so far I actually enjoy Final Fantasy X-2 a lot more than XII (which, once beaten, was immediately traded in towards Baten Kaitos Origins).

If it really would go to the X360 I don't think much would change in Japan and I don't know about other countries I am used to it to play it on Playstation so I would buy it .. Love the cartoon :).

 so from what i can tell by the fact that you liked ffx-2 more than 12 is due to the fact that 12 is weakest point is story and best part is battle system. while x-2 stongest point was continueing a good story from X with a newbie battle system. (only thing i liked about the battle system was the semi-job system).

 as for thoes other games im in the same situation with trying to catch up. i have xenosaga3, valk pro 2 and disgaea 2 and i just need time to play them all. 2 weeks from now i will hopfully have the time but they still gotta deal with my ps3 and 360 for game time.

and Disgaea 1 and suikoden 3 were my favorites last gen. 

^ FFXII has the deepest and most drawn out story than most FF's.

The story is the only thing I really enjoyed about FFXII overall, and even then it doesn't feel finished. The battle system was frustrating and clunky, the music was dull, the later dungeons were an boring yet annoying pain in the arse, and I thought about all of the main character's personalities and designs were quite poor. I did like Larsa though. :) As for X-2, I haven't finished it yet (I tried 4-5 times, but kept messing up the only way to get 100% completion, and I won't try for anything less, same with Suikoden and all 108 stars). The Jpop theme didn't bother me (as I enjoy anime and listen to some), the characters are okay so far (I think Payne's quite interesting, Yuna was "meh" and Rikku is far less annoying than Vann and Penelo). The music was a lot better as well as the combat system. I've only gotten to the "mass audience" concert about, what, half way into the game, because my old PS2 started locking up during that cutscene (and stopped reading blue discs totally I found out).
