Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Delayed to May; CD Projekt Sends an Open Letter to Explain

I guess the downgradation was real?

Not good... Delays are never good. Devs really need to learn to stick with targets. If they can't finish in time then they shouldn't set themselves such unrealistic release dates.

Thanks. And oh wow look at that power consumption :) Thats a pleasant suprise from AMD. If this is rumoured to be a upper-mid ranged GPU then well done AMD. I wonder how nvidia will respond.

It's a rumor so, take it with a pinch of salt

Nvidia's answer? 980Ti.

I feel like there needs to be more competition in the mid ranged tier...

There really does. A lot of the time old graphics cards just get rebranded and released as mid-range GPUs that are just marginally more inexpensive. There needs to be some legitimate competition in the $200-250 range, not just mid-low end and mid-high end.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Thx for explaining the dalay. This game looks so good so waiting for it is no problem. Maybe i have to get it on PC cause I need good grafic and FPS. UBI have to learn from this.

I'm glad it got delayed. Hopefully this means the game will run and play well when it releases unlike some of the games that have been released recently. Also, it spreads out the games a bit more and gives a chance for The Order to do better in sales.

Good for gamer, bad for them.

Or they need a new budgeting system and new time prediction system when the game will be release, since it's a next gen games and also quit ambitios games

Well if they know they can't finish in time then what's the point in announcing a release date?

Not a terrible loss as there are a ton of games releasing in the first 3 months.

They did not know, they just simply predicting , and almost every publisher and game developer failed in predicting games release on next gen. Like i said the blame is on the marketing people and their publisher, they need to fix how predict the time line on finishing the games.
