No, it proves they had to remove assets from the XB1 version to get it to rund smoothly. What part of the reality of that gif are you overlooking?

Crushed Black are when the image have too much contrast that affect the black levels... I can for example get any image and make it to show crushed black just changing the contrast in my TV.

The issue with Xbone is that you can't remove the crushed blacks... even if you lower the constrat it won't show the "normal" image.

It is not a opition... the RGB game is fucked since begining... the black are intentionally crushed to try to give the impression or more detail... it is more apparent in upcalled images but it is on native images too.

BTW you can make test in your TV before say anymore is ignorant.

Dude i've seen this gif stop posting them,.. a few location with minor differences does not guarantee that R gimped the x1 version. yes ps4 is great and powerful, i get it. but reaching is reaching to say R gimped x1 for 1080p

I guess he is misleaded (and another guy, too) by the thread which is still going on neogaf where the grass gate originated. Some people take whatever is the majority opinion in such a thread for truth and believe it while we have clearly a DF video showing us that there are no crushed blacks. I don't know but sometimes it seems facts are only facts if they are appropriate to what your opinion is.

yes there is little observable black crush, as the game likely has been developed around the Xboxes skewed contrast/saturation settings (360 had this aswell and probably was the initial lead platform), which means it will look a bit flat/washed out on PS consoles, as they use a neutral setting

that can easily be changed by adjusting TV settings

So we're in a thread suggesting the XB1 version is better than the PS4 version, even though it's only from cutscenes, I post gifs from in game to show this isn't true and you accuse me of 'reaching'? And why even say 'Yes, the PS4 is great and powerful, I get it'? That is so far away from how I think. Now just accept reality and move on.

Apart from the fact the PS4 version gets added detail as seen above the X1 also has it's crushing blacks issue (as usual). Bth version look like pish on the YT video compared to my TV running the game so it's hard to watch these vids but I stopped it at the end and Franklins shirt clearly shows the X1's lighting issues. They mess with the colours to try and make up for it.
