Forums - Sales Discussion - The upcoming X1 price cut will make it match the PS4 sales in the US

Seems like ps4 took one more NPD. So X1 will have to outsell ps4 by 750k in 1 month for you to win.

Want to accept defeat or not yet?

Also it seems price wasn't 95% the reason of ps4 better sales as x1 gone from 100 US over to 50 US underpriced (150 US swing without being even able to outsell ps4 outside holidays), this is the biggest 5% I ever saw.

Last I checked X1 sales still make 90 % of PS4 sales in the USA.

Closer to 80% of the ps4's performance last NPD, in the USA.

I think I am a bit loss.

Now the objective is for the Xbox One to sell 90% of PS4?

Now you don't believe Xbox One can outsell PS4 in the US by the end of March 2015 anymore?

Now you are changing goal post, after realizing that your previous goal is not happening?

I can already predict I won't get an answer to those questions since you are trying to be a legend on this site. Answering those questions with the truth will probably take away from what you might be trying to do. But you  don't have to worry, you are already the "Globally in the US" legend on vgchartz lol

Care to explain how that will allow x1 to pass ps4 by march 20th give or take 20 days?

And your percentage is off.

January: PS4 192k, XB1 152k = 25%+ advantage to PS4

February: PS4 342k, XB1 276k = 22%+ advantage to PS4

Or are you referring to lifetime sales in NA? And if that is the case, then you should know that even if the XB1 maintains a 90% ratio to the PS4, that's not actually a good thing and the gap still increases even if the percentage may remain the same.

90% of 8M leaves a gap of 800k, 90% of 20M leaves a gap of 2M.

My percentages are not off.

Also in math when people compare numbers a certain approximation and variation is allowed.

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/(%CE%B5,_%CE%B4)-definition_of_limit

as well as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardinality

And http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_O_notation

X1 is matching the PS4 sales in the US, and that's what I've claimed it will do.

LOL, you're throwing around mathematical terms without actually knowing what they actually mean.

The PS4 is outselling the XB1 in the US. It's not that hard to understand and you were wrong. Actually, I'm convinced that you don't mean what you say and this is all a satirical act.

I m convinced of that too, but I enjoy throwing question at him while he completely ignore to answer them.

Very simple questions but I doubt I will get any answer for them
