U.S. developer Still Games is planning to bring its latest project, Animal Gods, to Nintendo’s system among other platforms. The game, which takes inspiration from the SNES classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, is described as an action-adventure RPG set in Bronze Age Europe where players journey to an open world and battle ancient animal deities.

Damn, just ~$4000 to go. But, are they really planning on a Q3 2016 release date? That's just sad (for me, that is).

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Oh look another indie game I am not going to buy, is the U fanbase so desperate that they will actually care about all 2d indie games coming to their platform. It doesn't even look that special like Resogun, Fast racing Neo, Ori, Wild or Rime, but since it is an indie game it suddenly deserves a kickstarter, there a tons of games like this, that you can download on a mobile device for free.

A bit like a mix of Journey and Terranigma? Sounds interesting.

Technically every snowflake is unique, so I am not that special, but this game would be under everyone's radar if it did launch on any other platform than WII U. So it isn't really my fault that other indies are more innovative, daring and will probably sell better.

About 300 backers. Apparently, it seems under the radar for a majority of the 7.4 million+ WiiU owners of the world too.

Well the game has almost two years to catch attention, perhaps @E3 2016 it will be featured during the direct.

Cant bring myself to spend $25 on any digital game. Hope the creators get the funds they need though.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
