Well, it's not that Sony needs a lot of developers in hire to work on these games. And a lot of these songs are published by Sony which makes it easy for the creators to make good collections that work very well without any licensing issues. Guess Sony earns a lot of money as well with individual sold songs.

My wife uses singstar with her singing students. So that makes our Ps3 tax deductible. Now she can switch to PS4 and we can make that tax deductible now. Good timing too because the Ps3 is now fully depreciated.

I didn't said Sony didn't earn a lot money from Singstar but a game that sold only 2 millions there's so much games that sold 2 millions.

I'm sure if Nintendo make and equivalent to Singstar they would sold a lot more cause there is more casuals gamers on Wii or wii u by casuals.



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

She's smart. I've intergrated all gaming expenses into my tax which saves me a lot.

I'm sure it would sell very bad. Casuals never bothered with the WiiU. Wii i understannd, but certainly not WiiU. Also why are you mentioning this? Stay on topic.

On WiiU? On WiiU there are more hardcore fans of Nintendo then just casual gamers. Console casuals are moving to playstation while the majority will play on their Tablet/Phone.

Well, that depends on what a Casual game actually is. But a lot of people that buy Fifa and CoD are casuals. And then you have a lot of platformers (Crash, Ratchet, Sly, Jak, Medieval, LBP etc.) that just apeal to everyone and nearly every PS platformer franchise in the history is a multi-million seller. Buzz games sold a lot on PS2 and also on PS3 those games had decent sales nearing a couple million in total. There is also Guitar Hero 2 sold 5 million on PS2 and Guitar Hero 3 sold over 7 million on PS2/3. All lego games sell well on Playstation systems.

I don't call people who play fifa or cod casuals but it's because we don't have the same definition on it but Playstation was always the platform for those games,i can say Guitar hero is huge but Singstar don't look huge,buzz is the same as Singstar they release  more then 10 games but none sell more then 2 millions
