After E3 Nintendo stated there was a 2D and 3D Metroid in the planning stages. SO likely both 3DS and Wii U.

I'm going to say announced at E3 2015 and released fall of 2016.

I think maybe 2016. No earlier.



Basic concert band instruments: piccolo, flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, double bass, and percussion.

2016. A full stream year for wii u, with metroid, AC, pokken, star fox, diddy Kong racing 2 and others.

At this point I think the Wii U Metroid may very well be the "Skyward Sword" for the system. So in other words, the last big Nintendo game released on it. So I'm gonna go with 2017, and possibly late 2017.
