Forums - Gaming Discussion - Drive Club looks unbelievable updated with pics

Nice pics, nice tv!

I finally managed to get the Legend trophy. Only 1 star left after 20-25 hours of play time. The Venom GT hot lap eludes me, still need to shave nearly 2 seconds of my lap time, somehow.

I love the night driving, looks amazing in motion

Some pics from a Norway run

I tried to capture a video of that run, youtube kinda destroys it :/

It is a beautiful looking game slightly marred by the jaggies but you only really notice them when getting into the car or when starting a race and your driving at a low speed and the fences etc are suffering from pixel crawl. Once you're up to speed the motion blur (which is a bit weird..can't quite put my finger on it but it's not motion blur I'm used to seeing on other games) helps to alleviate the issue somewhat but then another issue pops up when driving at speed which are the flickering shadows which also update slowly. And the leaves that are flung into the air when you drive through them seem to be updated at a lower frame rate? Dunno maybe it's because I'm used to Nvidia PhysX.

It sounds like I'm nit picking but they kind of stick out with the rest of the pristine presentation. But once those initial disappointments recede and you keep playing and get used to the handling and gaming mechanics, you really start to appreciate the graphics and the gameplay. Personally I think the reviews were really harsh on the game and would advise everyone to try for themselves, be a little patient and get used to the handling. Shame you can't for now thanks to the server debacle :/

I agree with this 100% I went in thinking this game was just eye candy because of the reviews but im habing alot of fun with it. I know there was an issue with the servers or something but they were up when I was playing so that might have effected the review scores. Anyway awesome game easy to pick up and play, fast load times/menus. Great driving mech and of course beautiful!!!!

Sony, how about you get your shit together and release the PS+ version. i really cant wait to play this

I would still prefer my Panny plasma. 60" VT60

Temporary stop playing this game cause the server until now still getting error for my region...

No wonder it would have come as trolling, because "some noticeable jaggies" is far from "jaggy as hell in a lot if screens"

Not really, the jaggies will always look a lot worse in photos.

I think the jaggies in this game are getting way too much attention and are being blow way out of proportion.  Other racers dont come close and have as many if not more jaggies

The in race challenges seem to be working now, yet I still can't create or select them in the menu, nor club challenges. Multiplayer loads sometimes. Slow progress... Single player is still fun anyway, just one more go, and so on.

Some more driving into the night

Sony, stop this bullshit and give me this game already.
