Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Is this it for WiiU in 2015?? Already bigger than 2014??

There's basically just rumors and speculation.

Nico Wav, the guy who broke the Devil's Third rumor, says Nintendo has 3 other 'mature' titles similar to Bayonetta and Devils Third coming to Wii U.

Optimistically, we may *hear* something about Retro's new project, but that likely won't come til 2016.

And also the Diddy Kong Racing rumor.

And I have my hopes pinned on a Rogue Squadron remake/remaster. With the new Star Wars movie out in 2015, it makes sense for Nintendo to exercise whatever publishing rights they have to SW titles.

I really want one of those 3 "mature" titles to be Eternal Darkness 2. With Shadow of the Eternals failing to make it very far through Kickstarter, after what Nintendo did with Bayo 2 I feel it's an obvious opening for them to swoop in and finance the game into the long awaited Eternal Darkness sequel.

We'll probably be looking forward to another Metroid game soon.. it's somewhere, I know it - and not just for 3DS.

Nintendo has enough exclusives for 5-6 months straight week by week...

SM3DW realesed in 2013, so now in 2015 a new mario game...

Also there could be Metroid...

I still hope for Nintendo's sake that one's unfounded.

I still hope for Nintendo's sake that one's founded.

You must not care all that much for Nintendo's long term survival.

We know that at one point Nintendo will make a Wii U Animal Crossing, because this is a sure million seller and the licence is very strong in Japan.
2015 will be equal 2014 if Zelda and X are released, if one of these isn't, it won't be as good, regardless of the quantity of games released.

Honestly, they are the two only "2015 games" that I want to buy on your list, with maybe Starfox, if it isn't a small eshop game. If it isn't, it won't probably be released in 2015.

Yoshi, Splatoon, Mario Maker, MP10, Kirby are non buy for me.

Yeah, because DKR2 spells the end for Nintendo.

By itself, of course not. But it's a prime example of a trend that is killing Nintendo; lack of diversity, "kiddie" image, overly conservative software choices.

Then Nintendo should stop making E games altogether, because them not making DKR2 isn't going to remotely change that image.

Them making it would be fine if they handed it off to Monster Games or something. Making Retro do it wastes one of their only studios that can create darker content.

The way this gen has gone for Nintendo i bet 2016 will be a new system unveiling for them. So i say yeah thats it for 2015 and beyond
