Forums - Gaming Discussion - Do you think we will get detailed Destiny stats?

So while the (free) beta was running we were told that about 853k users where playing Destiny (http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/2cdugg/destiny_beta_stats_record_853k_concurrent_players/).

According to VGC Destiny sold about 4,5 million copies, not counting bundles I guess and not counting digital sales. But until now (or perhaps I missed it?) we didn't here any word on how many concurrent players Destiny currently has and I wonder why as it would be easily measurable and my guess is that it should easily break records but nothing official now.

I am curious if the reviews lowered the hype around the game and whether many stopped playing Destiny which would make the image of Destiny even worse as then it'd be publicly known that people stopped playing it.

So what do you think? Will we get any detailed data? We know that the mp in Halo 4 was regarded as bad as there were detailed statistics that showed that Halo 4 had the least played mp of all mainline Halos.

are you talking purely about pvp?

I am talking about how many users are online in the first place. Of course it'd be nice to see how many do pvp and the "social" stuff so we could infer how social the game really is.

vgc is counting bundles, but not digital sales.

just compare vgc data and pal data for uk

vgc has 442k destiny units first week

pal chart numbers, including bundels, are 418k

so if they dont even include bundels, they woulb be way to much off

Only headline figures - we'll be left to debate what they mean!
