For a BandaiNamco game, Yes it is !

Then HyWa also has amazing legs for a Musou! All rejoice!

I definitely need a Fate/Zero pic for Rejoice!

But it was released 4 weeks ago, SAO online was released 5 months ago and is charted higher. Never mind me if that was jk and I missed it :p

How does it prove me wrong when it's pretty obvious that 1 day (or even 3 days) of sales doesn't prove a game is a flop. I also referenced two games.

1) Super Mario 3D World

2) Youkai Watch (the first one)

yeah bcuz its a hit like yokai watch or popular as super mario

Wow, Quinton proving that his words aren't to be listened too. How does one use Youkai Watch's legs as a defence for Bayo2?? Shit I thought I said stupid things on here.

I don't even understand what you're trying to say with those examples.  You seem to be shifting your argument.  I thought your point was that it only had 1 day worth of sales?

Super Mario 3D World released on a Thursday (4 days worth of sales)  Youkai Watch released on a Thursday (4 days worth of sales).

3D World's second week dropped by 60%.  Youkai Watch's second week dropped by 50%.

Unless you're saying they're games with poor first weeks which went on to have good LT sales.

In which case, sure.  I counter you with the example of pretty much every game series that isn't developed by Nintendo or have a freakishly successful anime.

So what exactly is it that you think is going to give Bayonetta such amazing legs?

I seem to remember there being such hope for both Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 on WiiU when they were announced all that time ago.

And now, looking at these sales... such despair. ~ Upupupu

Anyway, aside from that, it's going to be a pretty boring week this week. Interesting to see what stuff showed up at the bottom again - SAO and Hyrule Warriors would not have been my guesses.

I was about to say "Goodbye, despair," but then Bayo 2 ended up fifth. 20k+, then for FW.

Good luck, Operation Platinum. You'll need it.

Platinum should be multiplatform plain and simple! They do not make big sellers for then to be releasing on solo platforms unless that platform is like the ps2 and holds 80% marketshare. Hopefully Nintendo provided them enough financial support for them to come out fighting. Bayo will fair better in the west anyway...

the sad thing about all of this is that we probably wont see another bayo sequel.

Poor Bayonetta, she is too niche for commercial success. At least she can be appreciated from those who eventually play the game

Bayo 1 sold almost 2 mil. Its just too niche to be a exclusive game for a niche platform which  has a particularly hard to guage audience.

These Bayo 2 numbers make me hope Platinum Games will do a PS360 and/or PS4One version.

Hmm, I personally wouldn't worry about sequels at the moment. Go and enjoy Bayo 2 first! :)
