I think that have much chance for outsell COD Ghost, and according to VGChartz, COD Ghost on Wii U have sold "2.5K" first week.

1) I think that would be a good idea to pitch in some of the funds. Emily Rogers kind of made it sound like they did with here post.

2) Not a good idea for Nintendo. Then everyone is going to expect that deal and get butt hurt about what makes this game so special.

3) I can't say for sure, but I would say that they probably already have some type of this service open, 3rd parties just need to take advantage of it. But I can't say for sure.

4) It's a good idea to try, depends if the AAA teams are willing to use it. Seems more of a indie thing.

5) I have a feeling this is already planned out that they are going to publish it in Japan.

1. This one can also be a bad idea, as the other publishers will want that kind of push

2. This one can work, pretty good actually, if they define a policy around it, like telling each publisher that they will do the same with 1 of their games, but only one, and they can choose which one, so they will need to ensure that is their best effort and many people will buy it to claim the incentive, and some developers may even give the console a try just to cash in.

3. They do have it but is a long distance support and kind of slow, I was talking more about a hands on approach, with engineers on site or a dedicated group just for this game.

4. Agreed

5. Not so sure, I don't see the Nintendo logo on the box art

It's a fallacy that M rated games are always more expensive though.

prove it. what M rated game you know is cheaper to produce than something like Just Dance which if we're being real is just lucky shovelware IMHO anyway

Not all E-rated games are as cheap to produce as Just Dance.

fair enough. Be we arent talking about those games are we? we are talking Ubisoft here who make Just Dance. So my point remains, thats cheaper to produce than any of their M rated games. Matter of fact what are some E rated games that are more expensive to make than the M rated ones? MMOs not withstanding. even then tose are T rated games

I'd be fairly confident than it was more expensive to make Tropical Freeze than to port COD to Wii U.

I think we should compare porting in both cases. Porting E rated vs porting M rated, but I think the amount of money is similar, it depends a little on features, like online play and graphic polish.

its silly to compare a port to a game made from the ground up anyway. and even then it still might be the same when online etc is taking into account, but you have to make these sorts of strawman comparison to make a point i guess

So, has Ubisoft made any attempt to push the Wii U version? That is, are they in any way hyping or advertising it? Beyond leaking that it won't have the DLC, is there anything other than the date that they've had to say about it?
