Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft Working On Cloud Gaming Solution That Hides Latency By Predicting Your Actions

People just need to stop crying at every single cloud news, the tech is just in initial stage and is not meant to leave the oven soon. At the current point, cloud gaming is taking its first steps, both Sony and MS are working on it and as the time passes, the clould tech will only get better as well as internet bandwidth.

Hmm, I will have to see it to believe it and what internet speed are they testing it on cause if its like 10 gbps... Well... not many people has that

...Is that even possible?

Yes but far from realistic... I don't know why he had to exaggerate.

Yea through Fiber and shit ton of money

I thought Fiber was 1 gbps/1000 mbps

No, you are confusing tech with product name. Google fiber has nothing to do with fiber itself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiber-optic_communication

latency issues?

please try gaming on dialup. The gamer has to predict where his enemy will be. Now that is skill lol.

I could see this working if you're looking at rendering graphics.

Gameplay, though? Glitch after glitch after glitch.

Got to admit, if I played a streamed game using that method, I would probably spend the first hour trying to outsmart it. "Predict MY actions, will you? >.> Weeeell, I'm sure it'll be easy since I'm standing here all peaceful and SIDEWAYSROLLJUMPJUMPCRAZYCIRCLERUNNINGWHOOPWHOOPWHOOP!"

haha! i loled :)

'Crying' at doing the opposite of what cloud gaming would be beneficial for. (Which is saving costs by distributed rendering on shared hardware) Wasting bandwidth and rendering resources at continuously rendering and transmitting a plurality of outcomes seems a pointless excercise. With 5x the bandwidth and redering power you could have decent 4K streaming quality.

They've actually experimented with tbps. Not feasible right now, but possible.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Awesome I hope this will help me in my League of Legend matches! Playing with 11383 ping isn't going to suck anymore!

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

So it will be like ryse, the game will play itself. cool, I will just assume it is doing that and won´t even turn on my console.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.
