I cannot hear sound at all. None. I can on the gamepad though... so can someone explain why my TV will not play the sound?

I've heard of gimped ports but this is ridiculous

Ok, the port is bad but not that bad. 

Have you tried to change the settings from surround to stereo on your TV?

Is the game in gamepad mode?  I know some WiiU games turn off the sound on the TV when in gamepad mode.  I also have the game and would check but it's still in the shrink wrap because I need to finish ACIII..

I tried a bunch of stuff but, I finally found the cause.
It was because I had headphones in the gamepad... even though i had headphones turned off on the settings....and did not have offplay tv or whatever turned on... so they just screwed up the settings. Atleast i finally found the solution.
