People are complaining that CD Projekt Red makes one statement and then does something else.  It's physical content rather than in game content, but it's still treating one console owner in higher regard than the other by offering this extra content when they were so adamant about having parity between all platforms.

As long as it isnt in game stuff then i dont care

But its just free stuff with the legendary edition. Very few people even buy that.

It's the principle of the matter.  If you're going to openly make a comment that you have no bias towards one console and then you go back on your word and give extra content, no matter what form as you're still being biased, the statement that they made was purely hypocritical. 

CD Projekt Red is making comments like they're the saviors of gaming, that they value the gamer above all else, that they wouldn't do anything like other devs are doing in any form.  Then this happens.  That's why people are complaining.  Not because they give two shits about the content or the system it's on.  It doesn't matter if the content was on PS4, Xbox One, or Wii U and this same thing happened, one fanbase and people that just don't like this kind of bullshit PR would speak up about it.

They are actually very popular among scalpers, like me. Buy multiple copies to sell later when they are sold out.

I don't have a problem with this at all. Developers need ways to leverage more support from platform holders. I have no doubt Microsoft paid for this one way or another, probably with increased exposure and advertising. Unlike some people, I WANT developers to make all the money they can as long as it has minimal impact on the core experience of the games they create. Items that aren't in the game work for that.

This is well worth the trade-off CD Projekt RED is making. I respect very much that they're trying to keep the game itself the same across all platforms so I will not begrudge them something like this.

Slippery slope. All comments I see are, it doesn't affect me so stop whining.
Just another form of sly marketing, get the game some more attention.
