First I have to hear that recommendation from someone who does not also think highly of Yowamushi.

I guarantee you that is is something worthwhile watching and this is coming from a guy that you know who trashed this season including the next one as well for having lame content ... 

Yeah it starts off slow and sure it ends on a cliffhanger but what I've seen so far is nothing short of great ...

And just for a bonus it's also one of the more original series which is an aspect that you endorse ...

A good action shoujo manga is not something you see adapted every season ...

I may give it a chance but I don't really see how I can have the time for that. Next season is upon us and I actually wanted to finish Nanoha before anything else.

I will see what I can do, though I initially dropped it because it was far from unique.

There's only 3 or so other series that even remotely comes close in terms of concept so what exactly do you NOT find unique ? 

Then again seeing as how you dropped it 3 episodes in I could see why you might get a ho-hum impression ...
