2017 is too far... I'm sure no prediction about this can be correct. There is no clue to decision.
Nintendo may introduce their new console 2016 or 17, or maybe there are some new hit franchises nobody expect in other consoles. It is hard to think, new Uncharted and SCE's games may be not so great stuff.

Not at $400.

The only way the PS4 can pass the 100M mark is for Sony to slash the price in half. And that's just not going to happen.

only 3 consoles managed the 100m mark

Yes, and 2 console are Sony.

the more more bankruptcy of Sony is PS3, and this console have sold 80m, sure +90m by end of gen.

If the PS4 for now have sold more even than PS2, will easy break 100 million.
