I recently was forced to switch to Time Warner for Internet, and I immediately found out how much they suck.
Unfortunately due to a government contract of non-competativeness, Time Warner is the exclusive internet provider of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. So when I moved from MCAS New River (in North Carolina), to California, I was forced to switch from Charter to Time Warner (if i wanted to have internet, which I do).
Well with Charter I was paying $30/month for 60mbps, with the awfull Time Warner, Im getting a blazing speed of 30mbps for the fantastic price of.... wait for it.. $65.98/month.
isnt that wonderful, im so glad the government didnt freakin allow competition, on base (or San Diego area, whatever). Im so freakin pissed right now. Im going to call their retention rep to try to get my bill lowered. But i want to know how this is even possible, that TW can be so incredibly non-competative.
I know Im just venting frustrastion, but does anybody no a good way to lower your bill? Does anybody know somebody that works for Time Warner, that could help. lol
