Forums - Sony Discussion - Can't Decide between Watchdogs or Infamous

Infamous is a pretty piss easy platinum. I haven't got it yet but that's only because I made a dumb mistake for both plays through.

I liked the first two Infamous games much more. But if you are an Infamous virgin then you might think much more highly of second sons than I do. I still liked it, but I pretty much agree with the meta score it got.

Can't say anything about watchdogs except I have not felt particularly motivated to buy it.

I would get infamous and DLC for it is coming soon

But them both used from eBay I bet you can find them like 30 dollars each

VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3

Hmmm haven't played either but I think inFamous has gotten more praise. So it's probably your best bet.

went with infamous. I think I might give GTA5 a shot when it comes to the PS4 so I don't want to play 2 fairly similar games so close.

both are really good but it seems from what your asking for infamous is for you as solo play and the trophies are very straight forward compared to watch dogs which aren't hard but take allot longer. By the way having beaten both games and just half way through wolfenstein now im surprised at how good this game is, well worth the money and might actually be better than the other two but graphics are pretty basic compared to the other two.

agreed, I bought Wolfenstein only because I went into GS thinking TLOU:R came out 29June. The Gamestop manager talked me into it because it was on sale for 40 bucks(going to plat it, then trade it in for credit on my TLOU:R preorder). I really like just about everything about Wolfenstein, story, weapons, gameplay, setting, art style. I also love the fact their is no multiplayer, there are hordes of shooters with good multiplayer but this game has the best single player for an FPS that I have played since Perfect Dark back on the N64 (I dont play PC FPS games, but from what I have heard  about Half Life 1+2 it is probably better or maybe not) .

yea i stick by my comment wolfinstein is awesome, might buy it for my xbox one or ps3 too just to play it again :). And yes to me personally as used to be a pc only guy i loved half life 1 and 2 and if you have a ps3 or xbox 360 i would recommend the orange box as you get half life 2 and its add ons all accept half life 1 and its add ons.

InFamous is clearly the most impressive and fun game while Watch_Dogs will give you many hours of gameplay.

You can't go wrong with either, but I had more fun with Infamous.

I went with inFamous and am having a blast. Its is like X-men meets Assassin's Creed. I love how it does not take itself to seriously, but at the same time does not feel corny. I am doing it on expert 1st time through and the difficulty feels just right, glad I did not do a lower diff for 1st playthrough.

I would go with infamous, I hot it ans it's great d'un, it shows you what your console can do better and the controls are just fun to handle.

I say this as another person who does not finish the GTA games, neither do I finish the ubisoft titles, I find they have too much distraction and often feel like the parcour in the assassins creed games especially is automatic, which is bad for a game.. I fear watch-dogs has the same type of controls and endless filler content.

Also, play the "good" quest in infamous, gaining bad karma by killing endless civilians is extremely boring after a while.
