Seriously though, if by the fall of 2016 sony can get the PS4 down in price to $199, and this gen ends in 2020, then it stands a very very very good chance of having sold around 130M in 2020.

Personally, if I were sony, I would drop the price to $200 today and bite a $160 loss on every PS4 sold. I'd probably go bankrupt too.

It might be hard since the PS2 had a replacement rate, whereas the PS4 seem like they won't break as quickly.

i don't see it happening. ps4 had a great start but i think this gen will be somewhat front loaded.
