The real denial is not looking at the facts! This site shows xbox one outselling ps4 in america for the past couple of weeks, and if you look at the past consoles its a landslide for the 360 with 43mil compared to 26 mil of ps3. Early adopters of the new systems may have been in favor of ps4 but it will slowly change as launch hype dies down. no it hasnt,  it has more for the 5th of july,  but the week before that sony took it, before that it was MS,  and before that it was sony for like 2 1/1 months atleast. those 2 weeks combine to 7k more than the ps4..  which is 1/3rd the gap sony had for the week ending June 7.  So sony still wins june by vgc, a month that was supposed be be a good one as its the first month with the new sku.   But we should also rememer vgc has had the xb1 consistently higher all year, so it might be a good idea to wait until june npd(thursday)

edit: Should also add, ps4 won the week the new sku came out, and somehow the week after that the xb1 increase its sales. which is odd as the release week should have the preorders so youd think that week would have more.

Theres a deference between america and the usa the front page shows n. american sales and xbox one has been winning for a few weeks now . But if you look in the past they only show usa numbers, just take a look at 7/5/14 numbers and see the deference in north america numbers on the front page and then look up usa numbers and see the deference.

And you just give the answer why you lost the battle without really thinking about it. You said Xbone will dominate USA because 360 won last generation in USA. And yet you just give an example that it doesn't matter who won last generation in USA.

Last generation ? It's all different now.

- Everybody knows PS4 got the superior multiplatform

- PS4 was not out a year later

- Nobody forget the MS DRM thing and diss against the consumers

Americans are not stupid, they will choose wisely. That's why PS4 is ahead on USA. Remember when some MS fans said things will change with 792p Titanfall ? Nope nothing change. They said things will change with price cut. It's doesn't seem to have done anything.

NPD is coming soon, don't worry. Using VGchartz US's numbers is pointless. Have you forgot or you don't want to face the truth ?

Sounds like somebody hasn't paid attention to vgc tracking this year. They've been drastically wrong even compared to the average guesses on the forums regarding xb1 sales consistently. Overtracking is a serious issue in regards to xb1 sales.

If NPD comes out and shows another massive month loss for xb1 will more people get that vgc numbers are broken, and that xb1 is going to have a ridiculously difficult time even trying to tie for any month this year? Probably not. Some people just hate the truth and will ignore it perpetually. God help us if vgc starts tracking with actual accuracy, or these folks will go absolutely mental trying to find some shred of hope to cling to.

to me, when someone says "america"  they are reffering to the US.   if they are talking about north america, they say north america or NA.

in the USA, vgc has the xb1 loosing june, loosing the week the new sku came out, and only beat the ps4 2 out of the last many many weeks, nd that was only by 7kish units.

if you hare talking about NA, well its nice that you pick a metric that we literally cant check and they very well may have been adjusted(some were, the USA numbers were adjusted its safe to say the rest of america could have been aswell)

Compare last month's vgc numbers with actual NPD results. I have nothing against vgc and hope they fix whatever's broken, but they literally have less than zero credibility now. When average forum guessers are far FAR more accurate, there is no point even talking about their numbers as its just referencing something with zero basis in reality.

And for what reason are you  so combative against "MS fanboys"?

The last oficial numbers we have for PS4 in NA was February when Sony said they "sold almost twice PS3+PS4 than the cumulative competitor". That was about 250k units.

Since then Sony only said PS4 was the top selling home console, by how much we don´t know. It could be anything from 10k to 100k a month.

Thus the last official PS4 numbers are the 7mi sold/shiped(?) WW by early April.

Your so hated MS fanboys are using the only numbers they have, VGChartz numbers. In fact for the last months we don´t know by how much they are overtracking or undertracking either console.

We can only hope that Sony or MS disclaim their sales in the next weeks with their financial reports.

Why do you deny the existence of NPD numbers. VGC is not the only numbers people have.
