I always come back so I don't miss anything lol. And the funny thing is the person who USUALLY always revies the thread is The Drill. I just like the good reading and enjoy a post here and there lol.

another great week for X1 in USA.

My prediction is slowly materializing.

Yeah, they are doing SO WELL in fact, that they have to throw $75 at potential customers to try to convince them to buy!  Are you THAT blind that you can't see how badly they are failing?

The current difference between PS4 and X1 in the US is  322004 units.

What's the current unit difference in the US? is it getting any better for the XBone?

USA Hardware by Platform

PlatformYearly (change)Total
PS4 1,483,762 (-29%) 3,564,575
XOne 1,078,538 (-44%) 3,011,403

Difference is now 553,172, looks like its alot worse.

Well in Canada, the PS4 is $50 more expensive, but I can see the Xbox1 outselling the PS4 in NA

Same thing in Australia now with the price cut, though pre-price cut the XB1 Titanfall bundle was usually discounted to the same price. Don't know how sales are going in Aus, but if I was to guess based on what retailers were discounting and the number of people within each section of the game stores I go to, it does seem PS4 is still getting more interest.

That is where the choices to cut price further actually get dangerous. Due to continued high demand and good social media/reputation, the PS4 is now widely viewed as the 'Premium' device. Removing Kinect from the box furthers this view in many eyes. Now the XB1 is just a weaker PS4, so a small price difference isn't enough to make it truly stand out. Both of these things virtually requiring an online service to make decent use of them also reduces the numbers of people who will bother owning both.

Definitely agree. Microsoft had already got rid of Kinect & having the Kinectless Xbox One sold for $400. If Microsoft cuts the price further just for the sake of trying to beat Sony (especially when the system has only been out for the first 8 months on the market), that just sends a signal to consumers that Microsoft is very desperate & that the Xbox One is a much worse product in value. Microsoft will have no choice but to ride it out.

Plus I also agree with you on the last sentence that you wrote. Before, people were content on getting both a Xbox 360 & a PS3 because PS3's online multiplayer was free, while online multiplayer on Xbox 360 wasn't. Now that Sony is on the bandwagon on charging for online multiplayer, most people are going to wind up sticking to one platform this time around. No one wants to pay $110 a year just to play online multiplayer on two different consoles.

You saw the news today that MS is giving Xbox One "upgraders" $75, right?  They are desperate to move consoles...and when THIS doesn't move the needle, they are essentially done...if a $325 price point doesn't move consoles, nothing will.

Well this because the op still thinks his theory is right and keep clamimg that all evidence in oposite doesn't matter because the next thing will boost x1 and make it pass ps4 globaly in usa.

LOL. What Microsoft's doing now is just sending a signal to consumers that they're very desperate, & that'll really make them not want to buy their product.
