Can you explain these not so obvious reasons? You have peaked my curiosity. |
Keep in mind this is all my opinion , and should not be taken as fact, but here are my reasons for buying it for the PS3, even though I do admit that the DLC is an advantage.
1. I have had all previous versions on PS platforms, it is familiar, and seems like a Sony game now and forever.
2. Online is free, and any non exclusive content will have the advantage in this department. (really not an issue for me though, as I pay for XBL. It just helps my cause is all)
3. Hardware reliability/ my 360 sounds like a weedwacker.
4. Sony Accomplishments/ Home integration/ rumble will negate any other XBL advantages.
5. I love the look and feel of a Blu-Ray disc. I feel like I am getting more for my money when compared to a dvd
Also, This DLC will extend the game but until we know how much, and for what cost- I am not getting to excited about it. Also, as the owner of both consoles, the decision still could sway. Right now I would get the PS3 version, but if the DLC somehow adds more geographical space in the game, (like another island) or adds 5 hours of gameplay (which it might) or the technical specs are in any way better for one over the other- than the decision would also be effected.
We know the games are supposed to be virtually identicle, but this hardly ever seems to be the case with anything multiplat so far except for maybe COD4.
The decision is one not to be taken lightly, and I can't wait for the game regardless.
