I 100% without question am a graphics whore. And I'm also obsessed with photographing amazing graphics.

I love games with great graphics, but I can play 2D games and games with sub-par graphics. I'm currently playing Chrono Trigger on my PS3.

So, no. I don't consider myself a graphic whore.

I'm a graphics whore considering I would rather have better graphics, but a lot of my favorite games are on the NES, SNES, and PSX. I have no problem playing older games so long as they're good.

Awesome graphics add to the experience.

owning a pc is the reason why playing perfecr dark zero on my launch 360 was somewhat impressive but by the time i had my hands on a launch ps3 and motorstorm i was greatly underwhelmed.
though i think part of that was how hyped and bullshotted everything was pre launch for ps3 the final game couldnt have been any further from the reveal video.

real graphics whores stick to pc and pc alone.

Yes but at the same time those "graphic whores" you call pc gamers are spendding 1000's of hours playing MMO's, which are never amazing graphics.  So what does that say?

I can relate to that lol. I'd be curious to know what % of my game time is spent trying to find the perfect screenshot :P I MUST PRESERVE THESE MEMORIES OF GLORY! So that i may look back on them in 15 years and think to myself "I used to think this shit looked good...?"

Well, almost none of my favorite games are even in HD so far... so I don't think I qualify.
I can be a whore for beautiful sprite work or hand drawn images, though.

Graphics are great but new fresh and fun gameplay is where its at.

I'll never forget how much fun I had when I played games like

Resident Evil 1
Halo
Zelda Link to the Past
Metal Gear Solid
Geometry Wars 2
FEAR
Half life 2
etc

And it isn't just because some of them had awesome graphics at the time...
