I was wondering why people always say that the Wii U has no must have games. In  my honest opinion, i feel that the PS4 and XB1 have no must have games yet. If people decide not to get a Wii U because it has no must have games, what games would make you buy a Wii U announced or unannounced? What games would you like to see land on Wii U?

I have a Wii U and my most anticipated games are MK8 and SSB4. I also have my eye on the new Zelda and X. I am looking forward to seeing Miyamoto's new IP. (Hope its an awesome FPS!) I also want a new Metroid. I also want Nintendo to make an open-world action adventure game based on a whole new character.

Obviously some of these won't happen but it would be awesome to see those on Wii U. What would U like to see?

Well... the thing with x1 and ps4 is that they have been out under a year so people are less hard on then but I do agree that the wiiu has a better games as of right now

I'm going to go out on a limb and say a large number of people on this site actually already own/plan to own a WiiU. Anyone else wouldn't take the proposition seriously.

Which games? All there are in WiiU are Nintendo games and we all know there's not that much variety.

*cough* It's confirmation bias though. People don't like the system, so they automatically negate any release as not a big deal. Oh well.

Out of the games out now, I'd say that 3D world is the only true system seller. But, there are a lot of games that may not sell a system on their own, but when taken together make for a strong packages. Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Nintendo Land, Zombi U, Lego City, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and the criminally underrated Nintendo Land. The lineup is ok.

Out of the future games Mario Kart 8, SSB4, Zelda, and X should be system sellers. In a perfect world, Bayonetta 2 would be as well as the sequel to perhaps the greatest beat em up ever.

What Nintendo needs most is a game that shows off the Gamepad. Nintendoland was a great first effort, and I'm really disappointed none of those concepts made it into full games. Tons of untapped potential.

Mario Kart 8, new mature Zelda, X, Xenoblade HD, Metroid Prime Trilogy HD, new Metroid Prime, an open-world Pokemon game, a $80-100 price drop and a trophy system.

Time. Its already a certainty i will get one.

Reason why? Mostly Sonic, Zelda, Fire emblem X SMT and X.

Well obviously it subjective... imo it has better games but u may not agree which is fine too

I don't really know anymore. I thought Pikmin 3 would be the game to make me dive on board but then I thought about how drastically my home console gaming has decreased over the past year or so and I couldn't really justify something else to sit along my PS3; Wii; PSP & PSV backlogs.

Games I would like to see which could realistically come out, though: Battalion Wars 3; F-Zero and plenty of JRPG's. Some more 3D platformers would be great too.
