The above track was so universal that they used it for a tv commercial that sold home appliances.

The best thing I saw this month after the Tomodachi Life direct. Holy shit what an 80s gem.

I have a Game Boy Color. I got it back in 1999 so I can play Pokémon. I have for the original Game Boy: Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold and Silver. I also have on the original Game Boy: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Metroid II: The Return of Samus, Kirby's Dream Land 1 and 2, Super Mario Land 2, and Ultra Golf.

One of the few Nintendo systems I've never owned. I had a Game Gear instead. What was I thinking?

Happy birthday to a revolutionary little system. Tetris is my favorite GB game :)

First console i played. i was like 4. Tetris is still awesome.
Later on i traded it for the black Pocket edition. never regretted.it had better I.Q. and was actually reasonably sized.

Such an amazing machine. I am 25 years old, so I'm about 5 months and 21 days older than the Gameboy.

I had the original Gameboy, which I used to play Pokemon Blue, Red and Yellow
My brother let me play his black Gameboy pocket(it was basically mine)
I upgraded to a Gameboy color(can't remember the color!)
I had then traded in my Gameboy color for a Gameboy Advanced. That was probably my favorite one, it was Silver and it was so comfortable... so many memories on that machine.

I must confess that I didn't own the console, but a friend of mine did. And then my brother ^.^

Tetris, Super Mario Land, a game that I don't remember the name but was about some chopper.

A really good console.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

To think something so much older than me was still such a vital part of my childhood.
Owned a Pocket and the Colour. Possibly the only console to sell to so many people just to play one game, Pokemon =D

Congrats, awesome system.

Have (have, not had) the 'clear' version of the classic GameBoy, a yellow GameBoy Pocket and a purple transparant GameBoy Color. All still in prestine working condition of course, I take care of my things. I have a fairly big library for it still, and there's many awesome games to be found. Most notably Zelda: Link's Awakening, which is better than 99 out of a 100 console games. It shouldn't have been able to exist on a handheld, but it did. The color version is that much sweeter.

I had the original and later I got a clear one. Both never died and I assume are traveling the world as we speak, going from town to town and fighting crimes.

I had:
-Tetris
-Super Mario Land
-Cosmo Tank
-Mercenary Force
-Ninja Gaiden Shadow
-Metroid II: The Return of Samus
-Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins (last game I ever bought)
-Gargoyle's Quest (My favorite GB game, ever!)
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtels II: Back From the Sewers
-Battletoads
-Fortified Zone
-Metal Gear
-Quix

And I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Loved it so much. Carried my games around in a special shoebox. Had the magnifier and screen lighting peripherals. I loved it. Lots of good memories with that one.

I loved these things back in the day, and I still love them now!
