Yep, I can see myself using this for hours!! A lot of games need to have this type of feature.

if coded up robustly you'd think a developer like sony (or MS, or EA, or Activision) could just write this once and put it into all of their games.

 

i mean, how hard could i really be to have the game pause but still let the camera move around applying a few filters.

Definitely!  Thing is though this photo mode really came out of no where, and the people who made Sony Vegas Pro are supposedly working with Sony on the new share features.  So this new photo mode could be a sort of sneak peek at those.  One can only hope!

I asked Sucker Punch and Billy Harper if you can use it while doing a Karma Bomb, their responses:
SP: ''Photo Mode only works when you have control of the camera. Generally, you do not have that control during Karma Bomb sequences.'' Seems like a no to me :'(
Billy: ''Good question. i don't THINK it will because it doesn't allow u to take over a scripted camera. try it and see.''

Maybe not on the way up, but on the way down you have control as you can steer him a little to hit your target. 

Can’t wait to use this new feature.
