Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Commodore 64 games coming to VC

I know this has been rumored for a long time, but I just spotted what looks like a definite confirmation:

http://www.mcvuk.com/news/29683/Commodore-64-games-hit-virtual-console

That's so sweet! I can't wait to play International Karate! Hopefully they'll bring in more great games.
It's a pity you can't plug in a TAC-2 to the Wii though. Hmmmm... there's a thought for some manufacturer
if C64 games start appearing in numbers

It says in the news above that this is going to be an Europe only thing, at least to begin with. So finally
it pays off to live in Europe, we get something before the rest of the world

Around the Network

Bah, only in Europe. And only 500 points each.

Hopefully these will hit the US soon.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

what? Europe is getting favored! OBJECTION!

*leaps in joy*

I think EU and the UK espessially was the C64's largest market, i used to own a ZX Spectrum and a BBCB but never the C64, but this if its true about 500points this is going to be the first time so far i think the VC is overpriced, heck they wont even have the cool load screens that draw one line at a time anymore and the hex counter so you know the tape is still going.

Japan has the MSX right now exclusively and Europe will be getting the C64.

We need to get these released in all regions.
