Forums - Gaming Discussion - Trials Fusion runs at 1080p/60 on PS4, 900p/60 on Xbox One

That does it. It's time to drag the Xbone to the back of the barn and put that bitch down. We can't teach that dog new tricks, so might as well kill it.

Either devs don't care to optimize for the X1, or it's just too hard for them to optimize for them

Don't worry guys. Once DX12 hits it will run at 1440 @ 120 fps on the Xbox One.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Clearly a case of laziness from the developer. There is no way this game can't run at 1080p on Xbone.

I didn't even know 900p was a thing! xD

I don't see how this is a Xb one hardware limitation. I think it's more like the develpoer found it harder to use the hardware in a way that gets them to 1080p.

Are this serious ? --'' Embarrasing!
But Ubi is all about PS this gen, they might have done that in purpose :/

It's not really.

It could be 1920x900.
Or 2560x900.
Or 4000x900.

All three are technically "900P".

Anyway, probably pass on this as it forces uDontPlay on the PC, otherwise I would have played it at 7680x1440 if the game supported it. (Otherwise 2560x1440.)

Depending on screen size, viewing distance, panel quality there is actually no discernable difference between 720P and 1080P, most people would probably obtain higher levels of image quality with a better panel with superior constrast than mere resolution when combined with those prior factors.

Just saying, wait until the really demanding games come. This isn't good.

It's only going to get worse. I doubt Watchdogs will hit 1080 on X1. Same thing for Destiny

I suppose the X1 is as much next gen as the Wii U but damn
